How to share a digital business card with a QR code on Android
You share a digital business card with a QR code on Android by showing the printed code on your Innovnet card, or a downloaded QR image, then letting the other person open it with their Camera app.

How do you share a digital business card by QR on Android?
An Innovnet card prints a QR code next to the NFC chip. Both open the same profile. Use QR when the other phone has NFC off or when you are sharing on a screen.
- Hand them the card, or open your QR image on screen.
- Ask them to open Camera or a QR reader.
- Point the camera at the code until the link appears.
- Open the link to load your Innovnet profile.
- They can save contact details from that page.
When should I use NFC instead of QR on Android?
Use NFC when their Android phone has NFC on and they can hold the card close. Use QR for older devices, locked-down work phones, or screen shares.
| Option | Needs | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| NFC tap | NFC on | Same profile URL |
| QR scan | Camera | Same profile URL |

Common questions
Do Android phones read Innovnet QR codes?
Yes. Point the Camera app at the printed QR. When the link appears, open it. The profile loads in the browser.
Do I need an Innovnet app to scan?
No. The visitor uses the phone camera or a QR reader. Nothing to install for them.
Can I download my QR code?
Yes. Download the QR image from the Innovnet dashboard and put it on a slide, email, or print.
What if NFC is off?
Use the printed QR on the same card. NFC and QR open the same live profile.
