Digital business cards for real estate agents in Canada: what to include
A digital business card for a real estate agent in Canada is a live profile: brokerage, how to reach you, listings, booking, and Google reviews. Your brokerage decides the exact wording.
This page is product guidance, not legal advice. Advertising rules come from your regulator. We link those pages and do not paraphrase them. Confirm everything with your brokerage before you publish.
What to put on your Innovnet profile
Brokerage and your name
Show the brokerage you work with and the name you use at work. Your brokerage will tell you the exact wording it needs.
How to reach you
A tap-to-call number and an email address. Add an office address only if your brokerage wants it on the profile.
Listings
Link to listings you are allowed to promote. Confirm with your brokerage before you publish a specific property.
Booking link
A calendar link for showings and consultations, so a buyer at an open house can book the next step on the spot.
Google reviews
Add a link that opens your Google review form so past clients can leave a review.

CREA: using the REALTOR® trademarkOpen-house sign-in on a phone
A code at the door can replace the clipboard. Visitors open a form on their own phone.
1. Put the code at the door
Set your profile QR code or an NFC tag on the sign-in table instead of a paper sheet.
2. Ask only what you need
Name, email, phone, and whether the visitor already works with an agent.
3. Keep a record
Save who signed in and when, the same way you would with a paper sheet.
On Innovnet’s free Basic plan, exchanged contact lets a visitor send their details back. If you send marketing email or texts afterward, read the CRTC’s CASL FAQ. Not legal advice.
CRTC CASL FAQPaper vs digital cards for agents
A live profile updates without a reprint. Your brokerage still has to approve what you publish.
| Situation | Paper card | Digital card |
|---|---|---|
| You change brokerages | Reprint every card | Edit the profile the same day |
| A new listing goes live | Not on the card | Add the listing link |
| Open house sign-in | Clipboard and pen | Visitors scan or tap and use their own phone |
| Quebec clients | A separate French print run | English and French profiles |
| Cost | Lowest per card, reprinted often | Card from CA$29.99, Basic profile $0 CAD |
French profiles
Innovnet profiles support English and French. Ask your agency how it wants both versions shown.
